I Need To M.E.A.T and Greet McBusted

I haven't blogged about my love for Mcbusted for a few weeks so I suppose now is a good time to give them a mention. Last week I was browsing through my emails when I came across one from the McBusted boys, well it was just a mail shot but it was very exciting.

On Tuesday 3rd February they released M.E.A.T and Greet packages for their upcoming tour. I have to admit I did let out a little squeal. How sad to think I am almost 35 but the thought of meeting them gets me a little excited.
The thing is for those that are new to my blog, I love Mcbusted. Always have and always will. I love their music and they all seem very nice, genuine, down to earth people. When it comes to music  I NEVER listen to albums, I just like songs. Daddy usually makes me my own compilation of singles for the car but I always listen to and enjoy Busted/McFly/Mcbusted albums, so I MUST be a true fan.
Anyway back to the M.E.A.T and Greet (M.E.A.T standing for Most Excellent Adventure Tour). I really, really, really want to meet them but and its a BIG but I just don't know if I can justify the cost of meeting someone for a quick photo and a hello.
Daddy has told me to just book the upgrade (we already have our tickets) but I knew it was going to be really expensive.  Also what would I say to them? I am old with two kids they might think i'm a bit of a freak for liking them so much.
So I was in a dilemma on what to do. I logged in to VIP nation at 3:50pm and kept refreshing to see if it had updated yet and also to have a peek through one eye at the cost. I knew it would be a lot but I wasn't expecting it to be a big £100 each expensive plus booking fees, on top of the cost of the ticket we already had.
So after thinking for a minute or two I did I clicked clicked cancel. For the total cost of £220 we could have a nice weekend away together as a family or we could put it towards the cost of our new bathroom.
I think as I've got older I've definitely got wiser and although I know on the night of the concert I will be thinking 'I could be meeting them now' I know right now I've made the right decision.
