Disney On Ice Silver Anniversary Celebration

A few months ago we were lucky enough to see Disney On Ice. As soon as the show started we were all mesmerised and I knew then that we would have to see another show soon. I am so excited to reveal that Disney On Ice Silver Anniversary is touring next year and its making a stop in Liverpool.

Mickey and Minnie are celebrating a whopping 25 years of Disney On Ice as they take the audience on an action packed adventure to four magical destinations.

Tour guides Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Daisy will take you on an ultimate sightseeing holiday. Prepare to visit The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and the number one animated feature film of all time, Frozen.

We saw a very brief snippet of The Little Mermaid in the last Disney On Ice show and I actually said that I would love to see more as the songs, staging and costumes were amazing. We are definitely looking forward to this part of the show.

Told through an international team of award-winning skaters, exciting choreography and a musical score filled with familiar Disney hits and rock-and-roll classics, the whole family is sure to experience a captivating journey to far-away lands without ever leaving their seats!

The arena will be filled with music and magic in every scene as you discover four unique landscapes filled with boisterous pirates, Caribbean beats and tender moments. Audiences will explore the African Pride Lands with Simba, Timon and Pumbaa; voyage deep under the sea to Ariel’s mystical underwater kingdom; and tour London with Peter Pan and Wendy before flying to Neverland to join Tinker Bell.  Plus, travel to Arendelle for an extraordinary adventure with royal sisters Anna and Elsa, rugged mountain man Kristoff and everyone’s favorite huggable snowman, Olaf.

“It’s an extraordinary show and a family vacation all rolled into one incredible night,” says Producer Kenneth Feld. “You really get a sense you are traveling right alongside Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends.”

This ice spectacular kicks off at Liverpool from Wednesday 16 March to Sunday 20 March for 9 magical performances at Echo Arena. It will also visit Belfast, Dublin, Birmingham, London, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds and Nottingham.
Tickets went on sale Friday 20 November, make sure you BOOK NOW so you don't miss out.

  1. I have always wanted to see Disney on Ice there is something so magical about having characters act out in an ice rink. The best of both worlds combined!
