Review | Panda The Cloud Bamboo Duvet

Edit this post
It's been about 18 months since we were first introduced to Panda when we were sent a Memory Foam Bamboo Pillow for little J. He absolutely loved that pillow but as it was a toddler size he has since outgrown it, however we did pass it on to a friend and it is still going strong. He loved the Panda motif on the pillow and would fall asleep stroking it. For the past few weeks we have been trying out another Panda product, the Cloud Bamboo Duvet.

Little J actually needed a new duvet so it came just at the right time and as we were so impressed with the pillow last time I knew the duvet wouldn't disappoint.

Little J loves his sleep and it's very important for him to feel cosy and snug during the night however he doesn't like blankets or duvets that are too heavy. When I read the duvet was called the cloud I imagined light and fluffy and that is exactly what you get. The duvet is blended with bamboo and Nano Microfibre. The Nano Microfibre makes the duvet lighter, fluffier and even more breathable.

Panda wanted to create a 'down feather feeling' duvet however they wanted to stay ethical - in line with their core beliefs - whilst making it suitable for everyone, including sleepers with sensitive skin and allergies. In order to achieve these goals,  product engineers crafted a super thin, breathable and fluffy microfibre out of organic bamboo. Bamboo has many outstanding natural properties and it's uninhabitable for fungi and dust mites making it naturally hypoallergenic & antibacterial.

Our duvet is 10.5 Tog however temperature regulating technology keeps the entire bamboo duvet cool in the summer and warm in the winter thanks to the highly breathable bamboo cover which keeps the air flowing.

The duvet has a very luxurious feel to it and we are very impressed with the quality so much we have decided to upgrade both our king duvet and our sons double duvet.

You can find out more about Panda by visiting their website and The Cloud Bamboo Duvet is available is online at Amazon.

  3. Sounds like the perfect duvet! As much as I love being 'weighed down' by my own duvet and various blankets, my children also prefer something light on top of them during the night, so they'd love this light and fluffy duvet :)

  4. This sounds fantastic! We got a new duvet for Christmas (not this one), but it's just so hot. I like the idea that the bamboo regulates heat. Thanks for sharing. X

  13. That sounds ideal for us. We use a double system here in Portugal as we need cool for summer but warm for winter and this duvet sounds perfect and negates the need to store one half for half the year!
