Over the years light trails at Christmas time have become so popular however we are now seeing light trails for Halloween too. I love a light trail so any excuse to visit one is fine by me. There are a few popping up in the North West already and I'll make sure I update if any others get announced too.

Magical Woodland Experience features BRAND NEW themes to guarantee you an evening of Halloween family fun! In the heart of the Cheshire Countryside, experience nature in all its Autumnal glory, lit up bydazzling cathedral canopies of fairy lights, interactive light features, and dancing tunnels of Borealis-style lasers.
The Halloween theme features some family favourites, including: Dinosaurs, Ghostbusters, Under the Sea, Hocus Pocus and more!
As you wander through the magical trails with crunchy leaves underfoot, watch floating umbrellas and clouds of flying lanterns fill the sky. Fully immersing you into a world of pure imagination.
Be careful: you may bump into one of the Dinosaurs where you can get up close and personal if you dare!
Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade

What To Expect
See the woods in whole new light, as you adventure through the magical light extravaganza and watch the story unfold as you journey through the woods down mysterious paths exclusive to this event. Make marvellous memories as a family, and don’t worry if you aren’t the bravest Boggle – it’s spooky not scary!
Start your adventure at dusk and craft your own Boggle Bindle Lantern to help the Boggles light up the woods at Hazel's Hideaway, before embarking on a journey through BeWILDerwood like you have never seen before.
River of Light - United by Light
The installations are usually situated at The Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool, Merseyside L3 4AF

What To Expect
River of Light is an outdoor illuminated gallery on Liverpool Waterfront, a 2KM loop, featuring light and sound from local, national and international artists.
This is a FREE event and the full list of installations and their locations will be revealed online in early October.

Welcome to the enchanting world of the Lakeside Halloween Light Trail! As the sun dips below the horizon and the moon casts its gentle glow upon the tranquil waters, a mesmerizing world of Halloween wonder comes to life around the lakes. Imagine strolling along a winding path that hugs the water’s edge, leading you on a magical journey through woodland transformed by eerie and captivating lights.
Shadows of witches on broomsticks, bubbles floating out of cauldrons, and spiders crawling out of trees all lit up by magical lights create an immersive experience that feels like stepping into a living Halloween storybook.
