TIG-TAG | Review

Disclosure - We were sent a TIG-TAG for the purpose of this post. All thoughts, opinions and photographs are our own.

Boy holding a Tig Tag
There is an eleven year age gap between big and little J so finding a game that they can both play has always been a struggle. Little J would be too young for some and big J not interested in others. One common ground has always been playing outside. Whether it's football, garden or chase games their love of playing outside has always meant that they could spend time together having fun. We were recently sent TIG-TAG which is an exciting new outdoor game designed to get the whole family up and playing together.

TIG-TAG is a super-lightweight and soft to the touch flying toy, designed to be thrown at your opponents. You can imagine that big and little J run at different speeds due to their age so being able to throw the TIG-TAG rather than having to actually touch him to tag big J is so much more easier for little J.

The aim of the game is to throw your TIG-TAG and hit your friends or family, whoever it touches, is then ‘it’!  Dodge, jump or run to avoid being ‘it'.

I think everyone has played this game. Does it sound familiar? Depending where you live some call it Tig. some call it Tag so that is where the name TIG-TAG came from.

We have had so much fun with our TIG-TAG over the last few weeks. It's ideal to play with in the garden, the park and we have even played with it inside.

The Prize : TIG-TAG

  1. This looks a great and fun game! I have never heard of it until now!

  2. this sounds great fun, never heard of it before

  3. We used to call it tick when I was in school

  4. We played it all th time - we didnt have a prop ! The boys will love this

  5. Played something similar but this looks better

  6. We called it tag oh the simple games they were always the best

  7. One of our favourites and we called it Tig!

  8. I used to call it tig...but I wasn't very good at it. I completely agree with you about how difficult it it to find games that the older and younger children can play together. Piper is 12 and Leo is 3, and although Piper has an awful lot of patience with Leo, something like this would be so good for them because it wouldn't mean that Piper had to hold back all the time

Thanks for your comments. I love reading them :)
