Big J asked me could he read it to little J before bedtime. He showed little J the book first and little J seemed happy :)

When we opened the book there was the letter from Oliver Jeffers on the inside cover.

Once we were ready to listen to the story, big and little J both snuggled on the sofa and big J read the book

Big and little J both really enjoyed it and the illustrations are beautiful.

How to Catch a Star is a lovely story about a boy who loves looking at the stars that much he wants one of his own so he plans to catch one.

This book was the debut picture book for artist Oliver Jeffers

  1. with daughter 1 it was puppies and kittens, with daughter 2 it was Mog, with son it was chicken licken ( and to this day I now detest that story cos I read it that often). Its lovely to see older siblings sharing their love of books with the younger ones.
