When planning a trip to Walt Disney World don't underestimate how many days you will spend in EPCOT. On paper there are few rides and what seems to be not much else, but you will be pleasantly surprised just how much there is to see and do at EPCOT. On our recent trip it was the park we spent the most time in and now thinking back I wish we spent more time there. It's got great rides, beautiful landscapes and theming throughout and the World Showcase which is like a park of its own.  This EPCOT rides guide will show you how much there is to see and do, with must-do attractions, thrilling rides, and insider tips to plan your perfect EPCOT day.

Planning Your Visit – Rides at Epcot Overview

EPCOT is divided into two main areas: World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature (formerly Future World) and the World Showcase, which features 11 pavilions themed to different countries. With so much to see and do, having a strategy will help you make the most of your visit.

Guardians of the Galaxy - Cosmic Rewind

Type of Ride - Indoor roller coaster with spinning cars and a reverse launch.
Hints, Tips, or Spoilers - It’s smooth and exhilarating, with a different soundtrack on each ride! This is a must-do but very popular, so book a Lightning Lane so you don't miss out.

Arrive earlyHead straight to popular rides like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Frozen Ever After.

Stay for the night show - EPCOT’s new nighttime spectacular (currently Luminous: The Symphony of Us) is absolutely stunning.

Pace yourself - EPCOT is massive,  wear comfortable shoes and remember to hydrate!

Enjoy festival events - EPCOT hosts seasonal festivals like the Food & Wine Festival and the Flower & Garden Festival, offering unique food, concerts, and activities.

This is obviously personal choice but for us Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Soarin', and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure are our top favourites!

Are there rides for young kids at EPCOT?

Absolutely! The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Frozen Ever After, and Journey of Water are perfect for little ones.

Is EPCOT a full-day park?

Yes! Between the rides, World Showcase, and seasonal festivals, EPCOT easily fills a full day and trust me you'll want to go back for more. 

Does EPCOT have fireworks?

Yes! EPCOT’s nighttime show over World Showcase Lagoon is a must-see.
