Out of all the parks at Walt Disney World, Hollywood Studios has really grown on me over the years. It's a park packed with thrills, amazing shows, and some of the best themed areas Disney has ever created. The opening of Galaxy's Edge was the icing on the cake for us with John being a huge Star Wars fan. I'm a huge fan of Pixar and if you're the same you’re going to love it here. In this guide, I’ll take you through everything you need to know about Hollywood Studios rides and attractions, including must-do experiences, height requirements, and tips to help you plan your perfect day.

Step into the incredible world of Star Wars at Galaxy’s Edge, one of Disney’s most immersive lands ever created.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Type of Ride - Interactive flight simulator.
Hints, Tips or Spoilers - Teamwork is key. You will be boarded in groups of 6 and split in to pilots, gunners and engineers. Being an engineer isn't exciting at all you just push buttons that like up. The queue is super detailed, take time to look around.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Type of Ride - Multi-part experience with trackless ride vehicles, drops, and life-size AT-ATs!
Hints, Tips or Spoilers - It's unlike anything else at Disney. Make this your top priority but please keep in mind lines can get very long.

Echo Lake is a charming area of Hollywood Studios, centred around a big lagoon and filled with a few classic attractions and great places to grab a bite to eat. It’s a nice spot to slow down, enjoy some old-school Disney, and take a break from the bigger thrill rides.

Type of Ride - 3D motion simulated ride through space.
Hints, Tips or Spoilers - Each ride is different! The simulator takes you on randomised adventures through the Star Wars galaxy, meaning you could have a totally new experience every time you ride.

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!

Type of Ride - Live-action stunt show.
Hints, Tips or Spoilers - A must-see for action movie lovers! Watch real stunt performers recreate scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark, complete with explosions and fight scenes. Seating is under cover, which makes it a great option during hot afternoons or sudden rain showers.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

Type of Ride - Interactive musical stage show.
Hints, Tips or Spoilers - Not just for kids! It’s a surprisingly funny, heartwarming show where you can belt out Let It Go at the top of your lungs. It’s also a great place to cool off indoors.

Hints, Tips or Spoilers - Join Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy on a zany cartoon adventure where anything can happen. It’s a family-friendly ride packed with bright visuals, catchy songs, and surprising effects. This is one of the newer headliner attractions and can get very busy.

This colourful land shrinks you down to toy-size to play in Andy’s backyard.
