Our Favourites | April Bedtime Stories

Disclosure - We were gifted the products however we were not asked to feature these on our blog. All thoughts, opinions and photographs are our own.

We were away for most of April however just before we left we were sent some lovely books by Little Tiger. As you will know if you read our blog we love reading a story at bedtime and it's a huge part of little J's routine. Here are our favourite bedtime stories this month.

The Lamb Who Came For Dinner

When a hungry old wolf gets an unexpected visit from a little lamb he starts planning a delicious lamb hotpot. But the lamb doesn't want to be the wolf's dinner, she wants to be his friend.

This is a really lovely story that proves that we can all be friends no matter what.

The Wolves Who Came For Dinner

One little lamb. Four hungry wolves. Fearless forest animals out to save the day but sometimes things are not what they seem.

This is the sequel to The Lamb Who Came For Dinner and it's a lovely way to show children that we shouldn't stereotype.

Stefano The Squid - Hero Of the Deep

It's lights, camera, action under the sea. Stefano the Squid is having a wobble. All the other creatures seem far more amazing - no wonder the Deep Sea TV Team don't seem to notice him. When disaster strikes, Stefano steps up! Can one ordinary squid save the day?

I love the illustrations in this book and it's nice to remember that the heroes of stories aren't always the obvious choices.

The One Stop Story Shop

Hey you - fearless knight, can't you find a dragon to fight? Then why hang about in a story that's stuck? come to The One Stop Story Shop!

A lovely way to look at different types of stories and challenges that each character faces.

What stories have you been reading this month?
