Father's Day Gift Guide 2018

Father's Day is just around the corner so I thought I would share with you some gift ideas. I always struggle buying for Father's day as my dad says he either doesn't want anything or he says get me anything. So I have selected a few of our top picks this Father's Day and I think I have covered ideas for all types of dad's, father in laws or for someone that is like a dad to you.

If you have a coffee lover than the ideal gift would be a coffee machine at home. Popping to Costa or Starbucks can be expensive but having a Nespresso coffee machine in your kitchen means you can enjoy a nice coffee in the luxury of your own home.

There are so many Nespresso Models to choose from but you can browse the range online

The Buygift Smartbox is the ideal present for anyone. It has over 400 experiences including flying lessons, driving experiences, water sports and outdoor challenges.

The gift comes neatly boxed with a booklet of available experiences and locations.

Currently priced at £159 and available at Buyagift. You can also take advantage of a whopping 25% off any experience using DareDad upon checkout.

Dobell have an amazing selection of menswear including shirts, suits and accessories.

This Dobell 100% cotton Light Pink Twill Shirt will make the perfect gift and you could also add some cufflinks too.

Currently priced at £29.99

This aftershave has been around as long as I can remember so it just shows you how popular it is.

Davidoff Cool Water Mild Deodorant Spray is a refreshing blend of sea water, mint, lavender, coriander and rosemary top notes, heart notes of sandalwood, jasmine, neroli and geranium and base notes of musk, oakmoss, cedar, amber and tobacco.

Currently priced £15 from Wilko

This leather wallet is currently available from Aldi

It is a perfect size for trouser pockets and it also has a special credit card protection. RFID shield lining blocks your stored credit cards from being read once the wallet is closed.

Includes 4 credit card compartments and detachable credit cards holder. There is also space for banknotes and coins.

Also available from Aldi is The Ladybird Book - The Dad.

This book is very funny and will have your dad chuckling to himself.

Currently available at Aldi priced £2.99

The Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Sense razor will do the thinking for him thanks to shock-absorb technology which auto-adjusts the amount of pressure it is putting on your face. Giving him the ultimate customised shave.

Available at most stores and online currently priced £12

With the World Cup starting on the 14th June giving your Dad some treats to enjoy with the football will be a perfect gift.

Budweiser is the official sponsor of this years World Cup and you could team it up with the official World Cup Ball

If you have an active Dad then I would definitely recommend the Brita Fill and Go XL

Designed for great tasting drinking water, Eco friendly, convenient and economical.

Filters water as you drink

Currently available in most good stores and online priced at £16.50

You really can't go wrong giving chocolates or biscuits as a gift, there is nothing better.

Elizabeth Shaw have been making chocolates since 1881 and their mint crisp is the product they are known and loved for. As well as chocolates,  chocolatier Elizabeth Shaw have recently launched biscuits, RRP £1.79 from Tesco and Sainsburys. These delicious biscuits come in four flavours and are perfect for sharing and gifting.

If you were struggling with what to get this Father's Day then I do hope I have helped with some of our ideas.

  1. My little girls have bought their Dad a Fisher Space Pen - it writes upside down and in extreme temperatures. Astronauts use them. It's a pointless gadget that we know he will love!

  2. I get annoyed about all the hype surrounding mothers and fathers day because companies always push such expensive gifts and I don't believe that kids should be looking at spending so much money on these days. Whatever happened to breakfast in bed, helping around the house and just doing something nice with a little, inexpensive present?

  7. Great gift ideas, it gets harder every year to think of something to buy both of our dads, I pick up something for one dad and end up spending a bit more, then add something to the other dad, its a nightmare
