World Book Day, 5th March 2026
World Book Day was always a favourite in our house, it was so sad when the boys headed to secondary school and not celebrate it anymore. Children across the UK head to school dressed as their favourite book characters and come home full of excitement about stories and reading.
If you’re celebrating at home, you could enjoy a family reading night, visit your local library or swap books with friends. It’s such a lovely way to encourage a lifelong love of reading. I will be definitely enjoying some quiet time and reading towards my 2026 reading challenge.
