Disney Cars Booster Seat by Tomy

Summer is finally here which means lots of BBQ's and eating Al fresco but this can sometimes be a pain for me because if I put little J on the floor for a picnic he just crawls away.  I have to carry little J's huge highchair into the garden all the time so I can get him to sit still and eat. This isn't a problem anymore because I now have a portable high chair and its brilliant.  Tomy First Years Disney Cars Booster Seat is so easy and compact to carry round and has made eating outside a doddle.

The seat can either be used on the floor for picnic or at a table by putting onto a chair.

If using on the floor you can pop in your little one and use the straps to fasten them in safely.

The brightly coloured yellow tray fits into secure holes on the side which you can use to adjust how far the tray goes.

Once in there is a section in the tray for a cup or bottle. The tray is quite big too so plenty of room if you wanted to put some little toys on there too.

The back of the chair is quite high and gives great support to the back and neck.

If you wanted to pop the booster seat onto a chair then there are two safety harness attached. One fastens under the chair and another around the back. You can then attach the tray or leave it off and push the chair up to the table.

I securely fastened the straps around the back of the chair and underneath too.

We decided to leave the tray off and as you can see its at a perfect height for the table.

When you have finished using the seat it folds for easy storage.

There is a button you press at the back which then lets the back of the chair fold

Once folded it is easy to store or move around, maybe to a family or friends house, the park or a restaurant.

The Tomy Disney Cars Booster Seat is suitable from 6 months and over to a maximum weight of 15kg.

It includes a 3 point safety harness and plastic seat

Dishwasher friendly tray which can be attached to the seat with three tray positions for child's comfort.

Straps fit most chairs and I even used it on a garden chair.

  2. This is fab. A is going to start crawling soon so putting him on the picnic blanket while we eat at the table was not going to be an option in the near future. Problem solved!

  6. I'm a big believer in booster seats rather than high chairs. We rarely used our high chair - it just didn't get up to the table, where the booster seat would fit them right up close.

  10. Seats like this are a godsend, so much easier to teach your child good table manners if their seat is actually at the table! Looks easy to keep clean too.

  11. What a great idea! We had a picnic a the weekend and were struggling to feed Amy as she doesn't really sit up by herself at the moment - we had to sit her on my knee so I could hold her while Dave fed her - something like this seat would have been SO useful!
