Sand Sculpture Trail, Blackburn
Disclosure - We were invited to complete the Sand Sculpture Trail for the purpose of this post. We have been compensated for our time.
The Sand Sculpture Trail has arrived in Blackburn this Summer and you can enjoy it from the 12th August - 28th August. The Sand Sculpture trail is free and lots of fun for all the family as you follow the map to explore Blackburn town centre to find all 10 Summer themed sculptures plus an amazing 3 day live carve.
What To Expect At The Sand Sculpture Trail, The Mall, Blackburn BB1 5AF
If you want to take part in the Sand Sculpture Trail then all you need to do is head to The Mall Ask Me Point to pick up a trail map and quiz. From here you can then follow the trail to find all 10 models plus the live carve.
The businesses around Blackburn are excited to be hosting the sand sculptures and this years confirmed locations
LIVE CARVE - Victoria Court, The Mall (live carve 12-14th Aug but will be on display after its finished)
Trespass, The Mall
Rhode Island Coffee, The Mall

Blackburn Central Library, Town Hall Street
We found all ten sand sculptures this year including the live carve. Each sculpture was so realistic however we did have a favourite which was the suitcases. They were amazing.
Each sand sculpture has a fact and figures about the sculptures and you can use these to help you complete the quiz on the back of your map. Hand it back in to the Ask Me Point in The Mall to be in with the chance to win £100 vouchers to spend on whatever you want.
This is our fourth trail around Blackburn and it really is a lovely way to spend time together and it's free which is such a rarity at the moment. If you would like to take a look at the other trails I've popped the links below.
The Sand Sculptures trail is led by Blackburn BID (Business improvement district) who know how much we like to be beside the seaside so have brought the sand to us this year.
