Beat Bugs Netflix Event

When we were asked to be a member of the Netflix Stream Team we were all so excited. We had heard of Netflix before but had never tried it, now it's used every day. We all have our different profiles set up which suggests programmes and films based on what we like. As it is the Summer holidays most of the day we are on little J's profile watching Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol and Beat Bugs. As a member of the Stream Team we were invited to a Netflix event in London and it was amazing.

The event was to celebrate the launch of Beat Bugs. If you haven't heard of the show you have to check it out. Five very cute bugs live outside in Julia's garden. The show was actually inspired by the creators love of 'The Beatles' so each episode features the fab fours songs.

Little J got to enjoy his first ever cinema experience as we sat to watch a few episodes of the series, he really enjoyed it.

After the screening we were treated to a range of activities based around other Netflix shows. Little J got stuck in with the help of his big brother.

Little J's first stop was balloon making. He chose a sword and was very impressed with the blue and red one that was made for him.

Collecting stamps in his activity booklet.

A Science master class thanks to Project Mc2. Little J absolutely loved this and how cute does he look?

Quick snuggle time before the next activity.

Sword and mask making. We spent the longest time at the part. Both big and little J put their creative skills to the test.

Last but not least little J got to make his own water bottle.

It was such a fun event and we all had a fabulous time. Even though the event for the launch of Beat Bugs on Netflix it was nice to be involved with activities based on the other shows. We will definitely be checking out Project Mc2 - it looks brilliant.
