Cycling From London to Paris for Charity

4 March 2016

If you are familiar with my blog you may already know that I do quite a lot of fundraising for the charity Sands. Now I say 'do' but if I am honest for the past year my fundraising activities haven't really been as much as I would have liked due to personal reasons. As this month is Isabella's 6th angelversary I am going to make an effort to fundraise more in both Isabella's and Rosie's memory and so is Daddy.

Daddy has already signed himself up for a charity bike ride which will take place in March. He will cycle the distance between London and Paris with a team of colleagues.

5 Years Ago Today

28 March 2015

The 28th March should be a happy day. It should be a day to celebrate. It should be a day of presents, cake, party, laughter, love, happiness and all things Disney Princess. Its not. The 28th March is full of sadness, heartache, loss and thoughts about what could have been.
5 years ago today I went into labour at 40 weeks and 5 days.
5 years ago today we went to the hospital full of excitement.
5 years ago today I was ready to have a baby.
5 Years ago today we heard the words "there is no heartbeat."
5 years ago today I knew our lives would never be the same again
5 years ago today at 3:10pm I gave birth to Isabella
5 years ago today we lost our daughter.
We all love and miss you Isabella.

I recently wrote about Baby Loss Awareness Week HERE and to remember our babies we are taking part in the Wave of Light.
We have lit two candles tonight at 7pm and will leave them burning for 1 hour, to show our daughters Isabella and Rosie that we love and miss them both so much.
Not a day goes by when we don't think about you both and what our lives would have been like with you around.
