Natural History Museum Shop - Personalised T-Shirt

One of the many things I love about being a blogger is finding out about brands, companies or shops that I haven't heard of before. When it comes to buying presents I do like to find unique and special presents and I spend lots of time browsing through google especially around Christmas and birthdays.

Father's Day Gift Ideas

Father's Day will soon be here and if I am honest I haven't got a clue what we are buying Daddy yet. I usually sway to something related to technology because that is what Daddy loves. I know he would love an Apple iWatch but he might have to ask Father Christmas for that.
I do love buying little 'Daddy' gifts too such as teddies and mugs but we have so many and like I said recently about buying anniversary gifts there must come a point where you have to stop.
Here are just a few choices that I may consider for Daddy.

Brothers By Willow Tree

Yesterday Daddy and I celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary. Its been a odd week with Daddy working lots and Big J on holiday in Spain. For most of the week it was just little J and I so we didn't make any specific Anniversary plans. Usually we will do something special but we decided to visit Alton Towers a few weeks earlier and maybe just go out for a meal on our actual anniversary.

Alternative Easter Gifts

When it comes to Easter I honestly feel sick sometimes with just how much chocolate we have in the house. Daddy, Big J and Little J love it but for me I would prefer to leave the chocolate in the shop where it belongs.
The more chocolate we have the less I eat so it does wonders for my diet I suppose. If like me you don't like too much chocolate or prefer to give an alternative Easter gift check out my recommendations below.
Available now from George at Asda stores nationwide, the adorable T-shirt pictures Tatty Teddy wearing bunny ears and surrounded by Easter eggs.

What To Buy For Our 15th Valentines Day Together?

This Valentines Day will be my 15th with Daddy, oh how times flies. I think because we have been together so long it gets harder and harder to come up with a present for one another. We have done all the heart shaped cookies, red roses and Me to You bears so this year we are looking at something else to give each other, something a little different. We have been browsing Buyagift together and have come up with a few possible choices.

Double Supercar Driving Blast with Passenger Ride

So if I was going to choose a gift for Daddy I would definitely look in the Driving experiences, he has done one before and loved it. This caught my eye, its on offer at the moment too. You get the chance to drive two of the supercars for a full six miles. Now when it says passenger ride too, I thought it meant I could go in there too. There would be no way you would get me sitting in one of those cars as I don't like fast cars but it means a passenger ride with an expert.

When Daddy did his driving experience a few years ago big J and I watched and it was actually a lot of fun even for the spectators. We made a day of it and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to live life in the fast lane.

I am a little harder to buy for, I don't really want or need anything most of the time so Daddy finds it almost impossible. I am not a lover of material things unless its Disney related..haha, I do however love spending time with Daddy and my family.

Daddy came up with the idea for Afternoon Tea. I do love afternoon tea and have been a few times and its just so relaxing, chilled and a very British thing to do.

We browsed the selection of Afternoon tea experiences and we both agreed I would love the experience in the Lake District.

I love the lake district, it was the first holiday we took together as a family almost 13 years ago and we have been many times since. Its not far from were we live and is easy to do in a day without the need to stay over.

As a couple we love to spend time at the cinema, the theatre or going for a nice meal. Sometimes its nice just to step out of the 'Mummy and Daddy' shoes for a night, even if its just a couple of hours. Its nice to go for a meal without leaving the restaurant with stains on your clothes after you have tried to feed a toddler.

When we looked at the meal experiences we both decided on Prezzo. Its a restaurant we haven't visited before and there is a new one just opened close to us. A three course meal and a glass of wine sounds like the perfect way for us to enjoy some 'couple' time.

So we are all booked in and really looking forward to it. Keep an eye out for my review later this week.
What are you buying for your loved one this Valentines Day?

Baker Days Cakes Was a Perfect Gift for Daddy

I love personalised gifts, whether it's cards, photos, teddies and now you can even get cakes.

Baker Days asked me to review a cake from their letterbox range and with Father's Day approaching I thought it would be nice to get one for Daddy.

I went to the Baker Days website and browsed the huge selection of cakes. There were lots to choose from in the Father's Day section but I picked a lovely one that I could add a photo too.

Once you have decided which cake you wish to buy there are options which you can select to meet your needs.

Sizes

Letterbox - 5inch

Small - 7inch

Medium - 9inch

Large - 12inch

Recipes

Then you can choose a variety of different recipes including Sponge, Chocolate Chip, Fruit, Gluten Free and Dairy Free.

When it arrived I had a sneak peak as it was supposed to be for Daddy but I couldn't resist. It was lovely.

It fitted through the letter but it was protected by the postage box and the cake was inside a 'Just for You' round cake tin. It also arrived with a card, party horn, balloons and candles.

The photograph I had added to the cake was perfect and when we showed Daddy he loved it.

We have a few birthdays coming up and I have already started browsing cakes from the Personalised Birthday Cake and Cup Cakes range.

Baker Days Cakes start from as little as £14.99 and you can view all 400 designs by visiting Baker Days Website

Mummy's Birthday Wish List

My birthday is just around the corner and I am probably one of the hardest people to buy for. I like lots of things but I really don't like people spending money on me. I don't know why but its just the way I am. So whenever anyone (including Daddy) asks me what I want my response is always 'nothing, I'm okay'.

Birthday Wishlist for a 12 year old boy

Big J's birthday is coming up and he has been looking at ideas of things to get, so I thought I would create a wishlist for him.

Big J is really into Star Wars at the moment. He does this every year, he becomes obsessed with Star Wars but then he moves onto something else but it always comes back.

Really Good UK

I have always loved Really Good Uk and in the past they have always helped me by providing items for my fundraising.

Give Great Gizmos Gifts This Easter

I'm not a big fan of Easter Eggs, in fact this year we have said that we don't really want or need any from friends and family so instead we are happy to give to a charity or maybe just a little toy for big and little J. Great Gizmos recently sent us some lovely gifts that are an ideal alternative to Easter eggs.

First was a lovely Plan Toys Coast Guard Boat

Love2Read Photo Book

Last Christmas I got a lovely surprise off Daddy, big J and little J, they bought me a gorgeous photobook. I wasn't expecting it and it is so lovely but there is one problem little J loves it so much that I never get to look at it long enough before it's snatched from my hands.

Keepsake Box by Freya Design

I was looking for something special for little J's 1st birthday so I was browsing the internet for ideas. I was hoping to find something special that he could keep. I was reading reviews online about websites and their products and I found Freya Design. When it arrived my dad was here, and when I opened it we were both blown away. It is amazing.

Dear Mum Journal - From You To Me

Anyone who knows me knows I have books and pads for everything. I write everything down. I am always writing lists, blog ideas, notes and I always get a new diary at Christmas too. Writing your thoughts and ideas down is a great way to save your memories and look back on them later in life. When I found From You to Me I instantly loved the idea so I was so pleased when I got the chance to receive a Dear Mum Journal - From You to Me
