Disney On Ice - Dream Big Coming To UK This Autumn

When I heard about that Disney On Ice was returning this Autumn with a new show I was eager to see how it could top the show we saw a few years ago. When I saw the announcement that Dream Big will feature Moana, Frozen, Beauty and The Beast, Tangled, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin I was so excited, what a fantastic bunch of characters.

Mickey and The Roadster Races and Minnie's Happy Helpers Toys

Disclosure - We were sent the products below for the purpose of this post. All thoughts, opinions and photographs are our unless stated. This post contains affiliate links.

Last week we received a huge box of goodies from The Mickey and The Roadster Races and Minnie's Happy Helpers range. We absolutely love Mickey and Minnie and already own a few of the toys as they were available to buy in America when we visited DisneyWorld in April. The toys were sent to us to help us co-host a twitter party on Thursday 10th August at 1pm, so if you want to get involved with the chance to win prizes look out for the #MickeyandMinnieToys and make sure you are following PlaydaysRunways. For now I just thought I would show you some of the range so you had an idea of what to expect on Thursday.

The first thing you will notice is just how colourful the range is. The colours are bright and bold and definitely eye catching for the little ones. The range by Flair and Just Play is aimed at 3-6 year olds and prices start at just £6.99

Set up for the tool belt was very easy. We popped in the batteries (which were included), popped it round little J's waist and he was ready to play.

The tool belt has loops and pouches to hold the tools. The drill spins when pressed and the the tool belt also includes a tyre air pressure gauge, motor oil, funnel, wrench and screw and sockets.

The Happy Helpers bag is perfect for any Minnie fan as it looks just like hers. The bag includes a lights and sounds phone, a bracelet with charms, a pretend passport and holder, pretend boarding pass and stickers.

The bag is ready to use as the batteries are included. The bag opens up and fits everything inside plus more as it is a good size.

The tool box is perfect for any wannabe Mickey. It's chunky and sturdy and includes 23 pieces which is amazing. The mallet is a favourite as is the nuts and bolts.

Ideal for mending and fixing.

The Boutique Cash Register is ideal for pretending you own your own shop. The till has a real working calculator, hand scanner, money, credit card and realistic sounds.

Again batteries are included in the box.

The shopping basket is a great addition to the Boutique Cash register. It includes play food which is well made and I know will last. Also some of the pieces can be cut in half with the knife included.

The baskets handles are also strong and again I know will last when we are playing shop.

The microphone plays the Mickey theme tune whilst the lights flash. Again includes batteries so was ready to play.

*****

What We Love

The range of toys are so bright and colourful.

Made of strong chunky plastic that will last

Batteries included which is such a relief - there is nothing worse than when your children wants to play with a toy and you need to pop the shop for batteries.

Realistic items perfect for role play

What Could Improve

Nothing, we love the range.

*****

To find out more you can visit Flair and the range of Mickey and Minnie Toys are available in most good toy shops or online at Amazon.

Don't forget to join us on August 10th for lots of fun, games and prizes. You need to use the #MickeyandMinnieToys and follow PlaydaysRunways.

Disney Pixar Cars 3 Movie Review

Last weekend we headed to our local Odeon to watch Cars 3. It's been 11 years since the first movie was released and in the 11 years since, we have been massive fans of Lightning McQueen. Big J's first cinema visit was when he was just 4 years old and we watched Cars so its odd that Little J's first ever cinema visit is when he is also 4 but he's watching Cars 3.

Disney Pixar Cars Are Back In Town

The movie Disney Cars has a special place in our hearts as it was the first movie big J ever watched at the cinema. It wasn't the first movie we went to see, that was Happy Feet. We didn't actually get in to screening for that one as he was too scared but that's another story. So Disney Cars was a part of our lives for a long time until big J grew out of the toys and the movies. It was a 'Toy Story 3' moment, you know when Woody and Buzz are preparing themselves for the attic, we packed up the cars and playsets and off to the loft they went. It's was so sad when they went up and I honestly didn't think they would see the light of day again.

What Would You Choose? #ImpossibleExperiences

If you could do anything or go anywhere in the world what would you choose? For me it would be a family holiday to Disney World in Florida. I've dreamt about going there all my life but what if I could do something even better. What if I could create #ImpossibleExperiences. Have you ever thought "I wish I could do that?' or "If I won the lottery I would...". We have all had those thoughts at some point but what would your impossible experience be?

The Lion Guard Defend The Pride Lands Play Set Review

Being huge Disney fans we are quite shocked that we haven't sat down yet and watched The Lion Guard TV series which is based on The Lion King movies. We've heard of it and it has been on our 'to watch' list for a while. When we were asked to review The Lion Guard - Defend The Pride Lands Play Set it gave us the excuse to sit down and watch an episode before it arrived. Little J loved it as did I. It's a lovely series following Kion, Simba's youngest cub.

Disney Princess Colours of the Sea Ariel Toddler Doll Review

Both little J and I were excited when Colours of the Sea Ariel from JAKKS Pacific arrived this week. I knew she was on her way but I didn't tell little J so when he opened the box his little face lit up. He loves Disney and Disney Princesses and is always trying to play with my collector Disney dolls so at first he wasn't sure whether he could touch her or not. When I told him Ariel was for him and she could go in the bath he instantly pulled her out of the cardboard box and wanted me to open her.

As a family we are huge Disney fans, we love to collect all things Disney. I mentioned in a previous post that the last time we were in Disneyland Paris, Disney Tsum Tsum plushes were everywhere. In every shop there were huge displays of the little cuties. Back then I had no idea what they were but I couldn't wait to find out.  Shortly after our visit I started to collect the plush versions of the Tsum Tsum characters. If you are new to the world of Tsum Tsum check out my first post here. Tsum Tsum (which means stack stack in Japanese) sit on top of each other. Recently a vinyl version of Tsum Tsum were released and we were so lucky to receive some.

We were really excited about seeing Disney On Ice Silver Silver Anniversary especially after watching the Worlds Of Enchantment show in Manchester last year.
