Disney Limited Edition Designer Fairytale Jasmine and Aladdin

When I heard that Disney were releasing a Designer Fairytale Limited Edition of the Princesses I knew instantly I wanted to get them. I had seen a few images that fans had uploaded from the D23 convention and they looked amazing. The third set to be released was Jasmine and Aladdin.

With a beauty that radiates more than all the shimmering gold in her palace, Princess Jasmine dreams of what could be waiting for her outside the palace walls. She soon embarks on a magic carpet ride with Aladdin, who shows her a whole new world. Even though the law states that Princess Jasmine must marry a Prince, Aladdin vows to win her heart and her hand in marriage. A truly royal couple who prove that true love can conquer all.

Although this set was not as highly anticipated as the others, it was well received as Aladdin and Jasmine are side by side rather than Aladdin being behind.

Jasmine appears in a satin skirt with embroidered peacock feathers, scalloped hem, flowy chiffon underskirt and an embroidered top with rhinestone accents.

Beaded head dress with matching earrings

Aladdin has a satin turban with a feather and jewelled accent, a satin cape and a satin pants and shirt combo with gold braid detailing at the cuffs.

I had a few months to save up for this collection as the dolls were to be released one every two weeks with a total of 5 to collect. I cannot tell you just how stressful it was getting this set of dolls. They became available to buy in selected Disney Stores and online in the Summer of 2013, I chose to try and buy online as we didn't have a selected store nearby. The website would freeze and they would sell out almost instantly, it was crazy. However as you will see I did eventually get them all and they are my favourite collection by far.

This is the first in the designer series to have a male doll featured in a collection and to have two dolls contained in each set.

There was a total of 5 sets released which meant that there is a total of 10 dolls within the collection.

Each set of two dolls retailed at £100 making them the most expensive collection in terms of a set but cheaper per doll when compared to the villains.

  1. I love these! The eyelashes on the dolls are amazing!

  2. Nice is fascinated with Disney just now, she’d love this!

  3. I love the outfits on these and Jasmine's eyelashes are amazing

  4. The outfits are amazing so are her eyelashes

  5. Those eyelashes on Princess Jasmine look fierce! Lovely collection of dolls you have. But I must admit I have a soft spot for Disney's Aladdin. Such a great movie to watch with the kids.

Thanks for your comments. I love reading them :)
