About Me | Who Am I?

1 October 2018

I've decided to join in with this years Blogtober. It's a chance for bloggers to write posts based around a different theme each day. Today's theme is All About Me. I'm looking forward to posting each day plus it has given me a much needed kick up the bum as I haven't been around much lately and I honestly have no excuses for that. So here it goes... All About Me.
My name is Michelle and I am a mum to two boys, Big J and Little J. I am rapidly approaching the big  40 but I honestly feel like I am still a teenager sometimes and definitely don't feel old enough to have a son who started Sixth Form in September.

I have known my husband John for 20 years, together for 18 and married for 8. He is my best friend and I don't know how I would survive without him. He looks after me in all ways and is an amazing dad to the boys. We have our ups and downs but I would say that our ups definitely outweigh our downs. I don't think a day goes by when we don't laugh together. Well John is usually laughing at me after I've said something stupid. He has accepted and embraced my love of All Things Disney and surprises me with the most thoughtful gifts when he knows I need them.

Big J and Little J are my world. They are amazing, funny, well mannered, clever and a pleasure to call mine. The love they have for each other makes my heart melt even though there is an 11 year age gap. They are the best of friends and big J is an amazing role model to his younger brother.

I am also a Mum to two angel daughters, Isabella and Rosie. Isabella was stillborn in 2010 at 40+5 weeks and Rosie was stillborn at approx 24 weeks. That whole part of my life was so tough and extremely painful but I got through it with the help of my family and friends and I can talk about them now without it hurting as much. I will save their story for later on this month around the time of Baby Loss Awareness.

So thats my family, now back to me.

Like I said earlier I am a huge Disney fan and visiting Disneyland makes me so happy. It's so magical and the happiest place on Earth.

I don't just like visiting the parks I also love collecting Disney snowglobes, teddies, figurines and Limited Edition Dolls. It's my passion and I love it.

When it comes to entertainment I am very much stuck in the past. I love all 90's music such as Spice Girls, Steps, 5ive etc and I love watching Rom Coms over and over again.

At the moment I am watching Greys Anatomy and once I'm done I will watch Dawsons Creek again for the 100th time. You cannot beat a bit of Dawson Leary.

So thats just a snippet about me. I hope you enjoyed reading and I look forward to writing more Blogtober18 Posts this month.
