Review - Dynamite Dare

We love trying out new games so when the opportunity came up to review Dynamite Dare we accepted as we had actually seen the advert for the game and it looked lots of fun. The rules of the game is very simple, diffuse or lose.

Little J loves understands rules of new games very quickly and although he still struggles waiting for his turn or gets upset when he loses, we can still enjoy playing together.

Before we started I read the instructions on how to play and they were very simple.

To begin the game you need make sure the detonator plugs are upright. this is very important. Then place the detonator into the tray. Push down the arms at the back of the detonator and this will allow you to balance the foam dynamite sticks. Next wind up the clock and flip the switch to begin.

We always begin with the youngest player which just so happens to be little J. Each player takes it in turns to push down a detonator switch. If nothing happens your turn is over and the next player has a turn. This continues until either one of the following happens

If you choose the trigger switch the dynamite will explode and you lose.

If you choose the diffuse switch the clock will pop out and you have won.

The first person to diffuse the detonator three times wins the whole game.

What We Loved

Easy to set up - little J can do it himself which is a nice bonus as he usually needs help.

Fast paced - no chances of little J getting bored as each game doesn't last very long.

Lots of fun and even though we know the dynamite will pop sooner or later it still makes us jump.

What Could Improve

The RRP is £19.99 which I would say is slightly overpriced.

Dynamite Dare is a fast paced fun game for ages 4+. It is available from most good toy retailers and online.
