Monthly Review Round Up - November

Can't believe we are in December already. November went very quickly and I am guessing this month will too and the big day will soon be here. Last month we were sent some goodies to try out, so here is our Monthly Review Round Up.

Redoxon Triple Action

This time of year is so busy for everyone and especially when you are a parent. You never seem to get the chance to sit down as it's non stop Christmas gift shopping, food shopping, Nativity plays, Christmas Fairs and whatever other events pop up. I have to admit that my healthy eating goes out of the window in December, not because I'm stuffing mince pies (Ok I am) but because I just don't have the time to plan and prepare healthy meals.

I was so happy when Redoxon got in touch to ask us to review their new Triple Action tablets, they are ideal for when you need a little bit of extra help. They contain a combination of vitamin D, C and zinc to help maintain your immune system and are suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age. As we have little J too we were also sent Redoxon Triple Action gummies which are ideal for little J's age range.

Redoxon Triple Action provides you with a top up of vitamin D. During the summer months, vitamin D is mainly formed in the skin through UV-B sunlight, and functions to help support the immune system. Latest figures show that in the UK, more than 20% of adults have low vitamin D levels in their blood. Taking these once a day can really help and help you feel better over the busy Christmas period. I have definitely felt better especially with the little Vitamin C boost each day, which can really help with energy levels.

November Degustabox

This months box arrived and it was the Christmas box so we were pretty excited about receiving it as we knew it would be filled with lots of delicious treats - it didn't disappoint.

The Good Cider RRP £1.50

This is a brand that has been in Degustabox before and although we drank it at the time it got forgotten about so I am so pleased it arrived in this months box.

J20 Glitterberry RRP 4-pack for £4

A few years ago we bought case loads of this around Christmas time and it is a perfect drink for the kids or the non - drinker like me. Goes down well at parties and it tastes great.

Hartley's Glitter Jelly RRP 75p

Again these jelly sachets have been in previous Degustaboxes. Everyone loves jelly here and with the added bonus of glitter it makes a perfect Christmas treat.

Butterkist Choc Mallow Popcorn RRP £1.49
Butterkist Sweet Cinema Style Popcorn RRP 28p

Butterkist is a regular in Degustabox usually different flavours to try. We have tried Sweet Cinema before and this month we got to try Choc Mallow - delicious.

Pipers Crisp Co RRP £2

I absolutely loved these crisps - Wild Thyme and Rosemary. They tasted like Chicken and Stuffing. Not sure if that's the taste they had intended but they were delicious either way.

Ahmad Tea Pear & Cinnamon Strudel Tea Pyramids RRP £4

Not for me but will pass on to my Mum who loves this type of tea.

The Appy Kids Co Golden Apple Juice RRP £1.49

Love these. We have had them before and they are perfect size for lunch boxes and Gruffalo themed too. They are 100% natural with no added sugar and are sweetened with plant stevia.

Hollandaise Sauce by Christian Potier RRP £2.50

This is another that isn't to our liking but have passed it on. Comes in convenient single serve sachets that offer a no-waste option because each pouch has enough for one plate. They can be heated in the microwave for 10 seconds or incorporated into whatever dish you're preparing.

Ryvita Caramelised Onion Flatbread Thins RRP £1.89
Ryvita The Cracked Black Pepper Crackers RRP £1.29

Big fan of Ryvita and these two flavours are perfect for toppings such as cheese, cream cheese or ham.

Broderick's Crunchy Slam-Dunk Peanut Chunk RRP £1.20

I recently found out that I am a fan of peanut butter however this was extremely thick and a little too sickly for me.

Jules Destrooper Butter Crisps RRP £1.19

These are amazing, once opened we didn't stop eating them until they were gone. We ate them as they are,  but I can imagine they would be delicious with ice cream.

Michel et Augustin 4 Cookie Squares RRP 89p

This wasn't a brand we are familiar with but that didn't matter as the cookie squares were gone instantly. Very yummy.
