Fisher Price Dora And Friends Review

We are not the type of parents that believe that blue is for boys and pink is for girls, in fact we are the complete opposite. Even though we have two little monkeys you will find lots of pink toys in our home. We have a pink pram that little J takes his doll for a walk in, a pink picnic basket and a pink talking teapot. When we were asked to review the new range of Dora goodies from Fisher Price I obviously said yes because little J is a huge fan. When we opened the box, three of the items instantly stood out and I knew little J would be really excited about them. The two dolls and the smartphone.

Dora And Friends - Doggie Day Dora and Alana. Suitable from 3+ with an RRP £10.99 each

Both dolls stand 8" tall and come with an adventure charm that can be attached to any Fisher Price Charms Bracelet.

Dora has beautiful long brown hair which little J loves to brush. Her arms and legs move so she can go on adventures with you.

Her outfit has a cute doggie design.

Unfortunately when playing with Dora she got very sick so it was lucky Dr Little J was available to give her some medicine.

The dolls are just the perfect size for little J to play with.

Dora And Friends - Dora Magic Charm Bracelet. Suitable from ages 3+ with a RRP £9.99

I absolutely love this set. The bracelet has charms featuring Dora, Alana, Kate, Emma and Naiya. The set also includes two extra brackets and six adventure charms which your child can share with their best friends. As mentioned above each doll comes with a charm too so their are more to collect.

Dora and Friends - Dora Magic Adventure Charms. Suitable from 3+ with a RRP £7.99

This is so cute. The pack includes a Dora figure and special charm bracelet featuring Perrito, A camera and Dora's backpack.

Dora Talk and Play Smartphone. Suitable from ages 2+ and a RRP £9.99

As you can see the Dora and Friends Smartphone was a huge hit as expected. Just like Dora's on the television show the phone can receive incoming calls and voicemails just by pressing the screen.

Little J called Daddy and they both had a nice chat. You can also use the phone to take pretend photos and use the pretend map app. Press the screen to hear ringtones, bilingual phrases and songs.

What We Liked

We are big fans of Fisher Price toys already and the Dora toys didn't disappoint.

The Smartphone was a huge hit with little J. There are lots of phrases and songs.

Sounds strange but the hair on the two dolls is lovely. Its nice and thick and perfect length for little ones to play hairdressers with.

The charm bracelet set is really lovely and I love the idea that it can be shared amongst friends.

What Could Improve

Although little J loved the phone I would have liked it to have more than one big button to press.

The Dora and Friends range is available from Smyths Toys
