Snug As A Bug in Bambino Merino Sleeping Bag

Little J has slept in a sleeping bag since he moved from his Moses basket into his cot. I had never heard of them before until a friend recommended we get one. It's such an amazing idea and there is no need for any blankets or duvets so that took away the worry of little J wriggling under his duvet.   I was sent a Bambino Merino Baby Sleeping Bag for little J to try. When it arrived it was neatly packaged in it's own matching travel bag which is great if you go on holiday or even just to grandparents house.
When I first felt the sleeping bag it was so soft and looked really cosy. Bambino Merino sleeping bags are made from natural fibres including a soft 100% merino lining and striped cotton outer.

Little J knows when he puts his sleeping bag on that its bed time and its part of his routine so I waited to try it out just before bedtime.

The Bambino Merino Sleeping bag is suitable from 2 months up to 2years. Little J is 14 months and there was plenty of room for little J to move his legs around at the bottom. There are poppers at the armholes which can be closed if your baby is smaller. There is a zip all the way round the bag and shoulder poppers which is perfect for nappy changes during the night.

Little J looked so snug in his bag. Its quite warm at night but I know there is no need to switch bags because the Bambino Merino Sleeping bag creates a microclimate around little J to keep him warm and comfortable throughout the night without the risk of overheating, It can be worn all year round.

The bag came with a temperature and what to wear underneath guide which is ideal for parents who maybe are not sure.

Since little J has been using the Bambino Merino Sleeping Bag his sleeping has improved lots. I think as the nights have been warm and sticky the bag has kept him at the right temperature so he hasn't been uncomfortable during the night.

The Bambino Merino Sleeping Bag is available in 5 colours.

Each sleeping bag is priced at £59.95 or you can buy 2 for £109. They can be purchased by visiting Bambino Merino

You can also check out other items such as pyjamas, accessories and footwear.

  1. We put our little one in a sleeping bag too, so much safer than blankets I think. We're in need of a new one as his other two are getting a bit manky now on the neck from all his dribbling from teething. Will have to check out the Bambino Merino, the colour range is lovely.

  2. I've bought some Grobags for my baby boy as they seem so much safer than traditional blankets.

  3. We used sleeping bags with our girls after I got paranoid about them crawling into the blankets, or kicking them off and ending up with sniffles. Ive never heard of the micro-climate bag though, that would have saved so much money from buying summer and winter togs. Both ours are now onto duvets in big beds now though....

  5. I like the idea of a merino one, Little Owl used to need a jumper on and sometimes even a blanket with her standard sleeping bag - I guess she is just a cold bunny!

  7. This sounds great. of course, the Merino is the best breed for producing wool in Australia with it's fine texture and multi fibres. I wish I could wear one. Visiting from UK Bloggers.

  10. We love our sleeping bag- they are so convenient and safe aren't they? This one looks gorgeous too.
I have heard that there are sleeping bags that can work with car seats for travelling at night but I have never seen one- I would like to though; very handy!
