The Sun Shines On Liverpool

What a lovely bright and sunny weekend we had here in Liverpool. It was so nice to wake up with the sun shining through the curtains. We made the most of the glorious weather and went to Otterspool Prom and The Festival Gardens.

When we arrived at Otterspool prom it was so busy. Everyone must have had the same idea to have a nice walk while the sun was out.

Big J took a football so while he played with his dad, me and little J sat on the grass and watched.

We decided to walk along the front to The Festival Gardens. It has recently had a makeover and is really nice. It was probably about 2 miles walk.

We strolled along with the River Mersey to our left looking very calm. There was lots of men fishing.

When we got to The Festival Gardens we had a nice walk round.

I found a weird circled shaped building which I went to check out.

There is a lovely Japanese garden and also a Chinese one too.

There are some lakes and waterfalls. Little J loves the water so was memorised.

Big J managed to find somewhere to climb as usual.

Before it was time to walk back me and Daddy had a little rest :)

I really enjoy plain and simple family days out. So much fun.

  1. Aw a bit of sunshine makes all the difference doesn't it you actually want to get out there ad do things, after school yesterday was brilliant as it was lovely so a friend called with her 2 kids and we all sat in the garden with ice cream, a great way to the end the day
