Review - Shark Bite by Drumond Park

We have a new addition to our every growing games collection this month and it's Shark Bite by Drumond Park. I've mentioned it before but even though he is only 4,  little J absolutely loves playing games and playing them regularly as a family as really helped with learning to share and take turns. Little J loves 'fun' games and Shark Bite really is just that. It's a game where you have to go fishing in a shark's mouth before he snaps it shut.

Setup

Setup was really easy and after popping on a few stickers we just had to pop the 12 pieces of fish in the sharks mouth. The game doesn't actually take batteries which is great but I was a little shocked as I wasn't sure how it would work, but I soon found out.

How To Play

Taking turns roll the dice in front of you. The dice will tell you how many pieces of fish you need to remove from the sharks mouth. All you need to do is pick up your rod and go fishing.

It does sound easier that what it is as at any time the shark will bite and if he does you will have to put all your fish back inside his mouth.

The player with the most fish when the sharks mouth is empty is the winner.

Like anything that jumps up or snaps shut it does give you a fright everytime. Even though you know to expect it it still makes you jump. Little J absolutely loves it when he bites the rod and is in fits of giggles.

Shark Bite is simple and fun and would make a perfect gift this Christmas.
