Review - My Summer Wear From JD Williams

A few weeks ago I was asked if I would like to review some clothes from JD Williams. You wouldn't believe how excited I was because usually it's the kids who get to try out lots of different stuff but mainly because I can't remember the last time I bought myself new clothes. I do have all the intentions of buying clothes for myself but usually walk out with a trolley or basket filled with clothes for the boys. The joys of being a Mum. Anyway I made myself a cup of tea and went browsing on their website. There was a lot of choice but I managed to narrow it down to just 3 things, which did take me quite a while.
John and I were heading to London so I was hoping that my new tops would arrive in time and thankfully they did. They were packaged up neatly with a lovely packet of Love Hearts inside. Unfortunately I didn't get to eat them as the kids got hold of them first.

It was a tough choice on what to wear for our date day in London as all 3 tops were lovely but I decided on my Joe Browns Throw It Anywhere Blouse. I wasn't sure what the weather was going to be like whilst in London so I thought I would go for this as it's quite light so if it got warm I could wear it without my rain coat.

It was the perfect choice for me because it was so comfortable and I choose comfort over everything else but it looks great on too.

It's quite long on me but I am a shrimp, but I love the length. Perfect for covering my bum, which is very important.

Another top I chose which nearly made it as first choice for London was my Red Lace Peplum Blouse. This is really stunning and I felt it probably wasn't the right top for sightseeing it is more for an evening date, maybe a meal or trip to the cinema. Looks great with skinny jeans and the colour red is gorgeous.

The last top I chose was something a little more casual and perfect for Summer days or nights just chilling in the garden or playing with the boys. I had to be realistic when choosing my tops as date nights are few and far between at the moment so I wanted something that I could pop on whenever.

The Together Print Top has a gorgeous floral print and the crinkle material sits on top on a cami underneath. It's a lovely fit with tulip sleeves and the material is so lightweight that its quite floaty. I absolutely love this top and have worn it with jeggings and shorts.

I have to say that I was really impressed with the JD Williams website. i found it very easy to navigate with so much choice. You can search by brands, category and even occasion. they don't just sell women's they also do men's, kids and also toys and homeware.  On this occasion I didn't browse the other sections as this shop was just for me but due to the quality and fit of my choices I will definitely be heading over to the site again in the near future to order a few more bits for me . . and maybe the kids.
