Brio World Fire Station and Firefighter Helicopter Review

I can honestly say that I have never seen little J's eye light up before as much as they did when he saw the huge box that arrived last week. Inside was the Brio World Fire Station and he couldn't wait to get stuck in. I had to quickly get the scissors to open the box because he looked liked he was going to explode. He kept saying as I was pulling the pieces out of the box 'Is this for me?' I love how much he love's toys it just make me smile.

Once it was out of the box it was pretty much ready to play. The fire station was one piece we just had to connect the slide and the extra pieces were ready to join in the fun.

Included in the Brio World Fire Station is the station, a fire engine and a separate vehicle which carries the hose. You can connect them both with magnets (similar to the trains if you own any Brio trains), 2 fire fighters, 1 fire, 1 saw, 2 pieces of Brio track (1 plastic 1 wooden) and 2 hoses.

Once it was out of the box I just sat back and watched little J play. it's funny how he's never owned a fire station playset before but he just knew what to do. He knew that the slide was for the men rather than the fire engine.

Little J gets very vocal when he's playing and American too, all his men and cars are American, haha. This fire man was on his way to another play set to put out some fires.

The top of the fire engine is the ladder so this moves back so you can sit a man inside. There is also a button on the top which turns on the lights and siren.

The hose on the extra vehicle unravels so little J loved using this to put out the fire.

Not quite sure what is going on in this photo but little J knew what was happening and was having lots of fun.

Separate to the Fire Station we were sent a Firefighter Helicopter. The helicopter comes with a firefighter and water. The water tank has a magnet on it so the helicopter can swoop down and pick it up. As you can see the whole of the top piece lifts up so you can sit your man inside.

What We Loved

Everything. This has made little J smile so much since he received it. He loves it.

Sturdy, well made, tough and will survive plenty of playtime.

So many different play options. Everyone loves playing with Fire Engines.

The lights and sound on the engine is a nice touch.

Can be attached to existing Brio train track you may already have. Great way to extend play.

I love Brio and for me this is a step up from their existing pieces which are still good but this is really great.

What Could Improve

I want to say nothing but I am guessing some may be put off by the price. It is a little expensive compared to similar type toys out there but I always say you get what you pay for. If you want great quality from a well known brand then this is really worth the money.
